Having invested heavily in our latest 5KW fibre laser with full automation to compliment our 5KW CO2 laser allows us to reduce our costs while turning jobs around in a shorter time scale.
At ADS, as well as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium we can also cut a variety of other materials such as brass, copper, zintec and galvanised sheet, tool and spring steels, titanium and other aeronautical materials up to a maximum sheet size of 3080 x 1550mm. We can also cut box section and different types of extrusion as well as tread plate and blanks that require cut outs in.

We can cut mild steels up to 25mm thick and hold a variety of grades such as CR4, HR4, S275 and S355 and also in finishes such as galvanised and zintec as well as tread plate. In addition we can cut tube and box section or angle. With our latest laser, having full automation also makes large batch runs a much more efficient task, enabling us to run through jobs at great speed offering great value.
We can cut stainless steels up to 20mm thick and hold a variety of grades such as 301, 302, 304 and 316 in a variety of finishes from HR and 2B to dull and bright polished as well as bright annealed and tread plate. In addition we can cut tube and box section or angle. We can cut with a protective poly coating left on the material if a guaranteed scratch free finish is required.
We can cut Aluminium up to 20mm thick and hold a variety of grades such as 1050, 5251, 5083, 6082 and J57S.
Typically traditional CO2 lasers cannot cut brass or copper but this is not the case with the new fiber optic laser. With the latest 5KW laser, we can cut up to 10mm thick in brass and copper giving an accurate finish that before was only available with water jet cutting but at a fraction of their cost.
We can laser cut almost all metals from as thin as 0.01mm thick, from supplied samples to sketches or dxf or dwg files as well as 3D models. With a kerf (the width of the laser) of about 0.15mm we can cut very fine detail to a tight repeatable tolerance.
